BEAR STUDIO CORNWALL

Inspired by the stunning coastline of Cornwall, Claire London works expressively with a variety of mediums such as oil pastels and acrylics on wood, canvas and papers.

“I get inspiration from the beautiful botanical scenes on coastal walks, visits to The Lost Gardens of Heligan and my own garden where I find connections with my surroundings and the natural world, taking photos and sketching to capture moments, I enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and form”

Claire had a very successful Open Studio Cornwall on board the Lady Daphne in Charlestown Harbour  in 2024 which saw hundreds of visitors in a sell out show. That same year also saw a new collaboration with artist Toni Knights from Artyfish Charlestown Harbour, this quirky little studio was a perfect spot for exhibiting works, through pop up days during the season, where you would have seen her painting or sketching on the harbour.

 

2026 and Claire now curates Artyfish working with a small collaborative of local Artists including Toni Knights and Scarlet Jade.
