Imagine Falmouth 2024 - Falmouth ART Gallery
Falmouth Art Gallery’s popular bi-annual show featuring an eclectic display of new works by Cornwall-based artists.

It was fantastic to be selected for the Imagine Falmouth 2024 show this year.

This vibrant show features artworks by 150 emerging and established artists living in Cornwall. All works on display have been selected from over 400 submissions received and anonymously reviewed by a panel of local artists and arts professionals. Their ambition is to celebrate the wealth of creativity in the community and give everyone the chance to have their work on the walls of Falmouth Art Gallery.

AFLOAT or ASHORE - Royal Society of Marine Artists
"The Painted Sail"
It was great to enter this piece to the Royal Society of Marine Artists for their Afloat or Ashore competition 2024 and to be selected. The exhibition continues through 2025.

Historic sailing boat owners Sam & Andy work along side many artist, musicians, writers and volunteers with heritage open days to help raise funds for the renovation of Lady Daphne, winning them the National Historic Ships Uk Marsh volunteer Award in 2023 and National Historic Ships Uk Static ship of the year award 2024. Every year the Daphne volunteers (F.O.L.D) help paint her huge sails and I was kindly given a piece of her sail to paint on.
I chose to work on a piece of folk art inspired by Daphnes community spirit, connecting through story telling created for the now, but reflecting on her past and the importance of Charlestown Harbour and the china clay industry.
As a local artist I have been collaborating with owners Sam & Andy for a while now creating below deck art exhibitions, workshops and my Open Studio 24 which had hundreds of visitors on board in a sell out show. I’m also part of the (F.O.L.D) Friends of Lady Daphne.

Pop up art in Charlestown Harbour

"Thanks to Toni Knights for letting me pop up and paint and sell my art from Artyfish in Charlestown Harbour during the season in 2024. It was a real treat and a pleasure to be out of the studio, in the sunshine to meet so many enthusiastic buyers of art in such a beautiful and historic harbour. Hopefully this will continue in 2025."

Charlestown Harbour - Charlestown Eyecare
An artists view...

In 2024 I was excited to be asked by Charlestown Eyecare to use my Charlestown Harbour artwork for their eye cloths. This tiny artwork has been such a success, from postcards to signed prints and even used as wedding invites.
Watch this space!!

Fifty Flowers is a collection of art works all based around flowers to celebrate my big 50.
Each piece will be signed and numbered.
"As an artist I find myself drawn to the natural world & natural forms so fifty flowers seemed the perfect subject matter for my new collection. I will be using a mixture of styles colours and materials to experiment with different out comes."
