Throughout the year I will be involved in many projects outside of the studio, these including the Open Studios Cornwall 2024, my Fifty Flowers exhibition and the Floating Fayre's. These will all be held onboard the Lady Daphne an amazing 101 year old barge in Charlestown harbour. Read on for more details...
Open Studios - 25th May to 2nd June
This pop up art studio will be on board the historic Lady Daphne, a 101 year old barge.

As well as working from my home studio I have also been collaborating with owners of a 101 year old barge in Charlestown harbour creating pop up art exhibitions working along side other local artist and running workshops creating mix media pieces using driftwood and pottery beach finds. I have also been exploring the Victorian art of seaweed pressing and will be demonstrating and selling finished pieces during the open studio week.

Lady Daphne is a beautiful 101 year old barge moored in the amazing Charlestown harbour it has recently won the Marsh Volunteer Award 2023 by the National Historic Ships UK and featured on BBC spotlight.
Sam and Andy host many arts and music events thought out the year making the perfect venue for this years open studio. 2023 also marked Lady Daphne’s 100th Birthday.

Fifty Flowers Exhibition - 21st Sept to 22nd Sept
Fifty Flowers will be a collection of art works all based around flowers to celebrate my big 50.
Each piece will be signed and numbered.
As an artist I find myself drawn to the natural world & natural forms so fifty flowers seemed the perfect subject matter for my new collection. I will be using a mixture of styles colours and materials to experiment with different out comes. I have already started so some works are available now on my online shop.

Late summer I will be holding an exhibition to showcase some of my finished pieces on board Lady Daphne in Charlestown Harbour.
​
I will also be holding flower workshops through-out the year so look out for these if you want to get involved.

Lady Daphne's Floating Fayre - 3rd April to 23rd Oct
Following on from the great success of last years summer art pop-ups and the Christmas fayre's I will be back onboard this amazing venue throughout the season alongside many other local artisans showcasing their quality artworks and handmade gifts.
We will be selling unique goods at our regular Floating Fayre onboard Lady Daphne in Charlestown Harbour on selected dates during 2024. Come along and support Lady Daphne and the local traders !!
